Discovery Club is our midweek program for children 3 years old (by Sept. 1st) through 5th grade. We meet Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:45. All children start out with an opening in the SLC worship space which includes singing, celebrating birthdays and prayer. Following opening, the children have large group time, one for pre-schoolers and one for K-5th. The curriculum that we use for this is called “The Kitchen” which is a Bible based program from KidzMatter Ministries. Each week the children learn important lessons from the Bible. These lessons are reinforced with media components, science experiments and much more! Immediately after large group time, the children meet with their small group leaders for discussion, prayer, crafts, games and activities that relate to the Bible teaching for that evening. This is a great environment for children to form Christian friendships and to grow in their walk with Jesus!
