Guiding people to fully live as followers of Jesus

Good Grief, Great Hope ( September 3, 2017 )

Aside from Psalm 23, the message of John 11 might be one of the most common narratives proclaimed at Christian funerals - and one of the most comforting passages in all of Scripture. Why? Because it boldly reminds us that although death is a path we all must take, we are securely in the hands of the Lord of the resurrection, the God who brings life out of death - and, more than that, life after death. Because Jesus paid our debt, because He has walked this road before us, He alone can offer peace to the fearful and hope for the grieving.
