What is Launch?
“Launch” is a free and fun event for any student entering high school this fall. All students, it doesn’t matter what church you attend or if you attend any church at all, are invited to join us. We have a fun night of encouragement, festivities, and worship to launch students well into a new school year! For planning purposes, please register at the link below. Meet our Guest Presenter
Shelly Schwalm is a Director of Christian Education (DCE), serving at Concordia University-St. Paul in St. Paul, Minnesota. Shelly is a 2010 graduate of Concordia St. Paul’s DCE program and, more recently, completed her Master’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
Shelly is passionate about writing, speaking, and leading God's people in worship. She has a heart for worship, missions, orphans, mentoring, and those who don't yet know the hope we have in Christ. Shelly has led worship and spoken at women's, youth, and staff retreats, conferences, including the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
Shelly likes coffee shops, stories, being outdoors, getting creative, traveling, adventure, culture, ethnic foods, and watching Jesus do His resurrection thing.
