The Book of Revelation provides a vivid overview of “God’s grand plan to defeat evil, rescue his people, and transform his creation.” This week, we take a look at the recurring theme of worship in Revelation and throughout the Bible.

Monday | Revelation 19:1-10
As God’s ultimate and final victory is celebrated, it is pictured as a marriage feast. In what ways might a worship service be like a celebration feast for you? What primary feelings do you experience during a worship service? What causes you to worship God with excitement and celebration?

Tuesday | Luke 1:46-55
Mary’s hymn of praise shares themes with those found in Revelation. What connections do you find here with themes in Revelation that we have been discussing in this series?

Wednesday | Revelation 7:9-17
What would it feel like today to worship with a large group of people from nations all around the world? What does this future picture of worship in heaven suggest to you about how we should consider people of other countries, ethnicities, and languages?

Thursday | Micah 4:1-5, Isaiah 45:20-23
As in Revelation 7, these Old Testament verses indicate God’s plan to save and unite people from all parts of the world. What do these verses tell us will ultimately cause unity among the nations?  How might our worshipping together motivate us to love and reach out to those who are different from us?

Friday | Psalm 148
How does it feel to think that when we worship God, we are joining with all of the heavenly beings in their worship?  How does reflecting on all of the things of nature, giving praise to God, inspire your worship and praise? How can you focus on your personal worship this week?
