Week of June 21, 2026

Monday | Ephesians 3:14-17a, Galatians 2:20
In these verses from Ephesians 3, the Apostle Paul prays that the Holy Spirit would bring Jesus to his readers in such a personal way that Christ would “dwell” in them.  What emotions stir in reflecting on the truth that by faith, Jesus is within you?  What does it mean to you that Christ lives within you?  How have you experienced his presence day to day?  On especially important occasions?  What might it mean to experience immeasurably more of Jesus’ presence in your life?

Tuesday | Ephesians 3:17b-19; 1 John 3:1-2, 4:9-10
Paul wants his readers to know more of the greatness of God’s love for each of us.  How do you understand being loved by God?  How has God most fully demonstrated that love to all humanity?  How does divine love “surpass knowledge”?  In what particular ways have you experienced that love in your own faith journey?  What might it mean to have immeasurably more of God’s love in your life?

Wednesday | Ephesians 3:20-21; Romans 5:20-21
“Immeasurably more” is the Apostle Paul’s view that in Christ we have a “hyper-abundance” of God’s love and power.  One writer suggests that Paul’s thinking went something like this:

  1. God is able to do all we ask of him.

  2. God is even able to do all that we dare not ask but merely imagine.

  3. He can do even more than this.

  4. He can do far more than this.

In what ways has God given us more than enough in creation and redemption?  How have you received “hyper-abundance” in your life’s journey?  What might it mean to have immeasurably more of God’s blessing in your life?

Thursday | John 3:16-17; 1 Timothy 2:3-6; Revelation 7:9-10
God’s love is wide … it extends to all people, even though all too many turn away from him.   What does this teach you about God?  How does it affect your attitude toward and your engagement with people?  How does it motivate your own personal witness and the mission of the church?  What might it mean to see immeasurably more impact of the Gospel message in our world?

Friday | Romans 5:6-11; 8:37-39
God’s love is deep … leading Jesus to the cross, bearing our sin, serving as the ultimate sacrifice which reconciles us with God.   What stirs within you when you reflect upon the cross and Jesus’ sacrifice?  How does Jesus’ sacrificial love matter to you from day to day?  How (if at all) has it changed your life?  What might it mean to possess immeasurably more sacrificial love toward God and others?
