The reality of the Trinitarian nature of God is written on every page of Scripture and every cell of our bodies. It’s there, under the surface, unseen unless we analyze at a deeper level and look beneath the surface. From Genesis to Revelation, we see God moving, speaking, and acting in dynamic ways, and in the light of the Gospel, we can see that all God’s movement is toward us. Our life is a trinitarian life, meant for community with God and each other.

Monday | Genesis 1:1-3
Looking through a “Trinitarian” lens, the Father, Son, and Spirit are working together in the creation process. What does this reveal about the heart and nature of God? How does this shape our relationship to the rest of creation? Why is this foundational to the whole biblical story?

Tuesday | Genesis 1:26-27, 2:18-25
God creates humans in his image. What are some of the characteristics of us bearing the image of God? How does the relational nature of humanity come from God? What value does the image of God add to each human life?

Wednesday | John 14:10-17
Jesus teaches his disciples that he is the way to the Father. How does Jesus describe his relationship with the Father? Who gets the credit for Jesus’ works? Jesus promises the Holy Spirit to us. What are the blessings bestowed by the Spirit?

Thursday | Ephesians 5:15-21
Paul instructs the church to live in the Spirit. What function does the Holy Spirit have in the life of the Christian church? How are you using the time God has given you? When have you experienced seeking fullness in other things, versus being filled by the Holy Spirit?

Friday | Revelation 22:1-5
The end of all things is the fulfillment of all things. What details from the creation story in Genesis does John highlight here as being fulfilled at the end of time? Which of his descriptions gives you peace? How is the Trinity displayed in the last chapter of Scripture- and what does our relationship with the Trinity look like?
