Week of September 13, 2026
Monday | Psalm 90:4-14
This is the only Psalm Moses wrote. For a man who spent so much time talking with God and in his presence, what do you notice about this prayer of his? What is the difference between God’s perspective on time and the human perspective? How does this help you orient to the time you have?
Tuesday | Esther 4:1-17
Esther had the opportunity to save the Jews because of her position. What position do you hold in the lives of others? Why do you think God gave you this place? How can you make the most of the time you have, and, like Esther, what role does prayer play?
Wednesday | Romans 13:11-14
God’s salvation keeps working deeper and deeper into our lives and schedules. What works of darkness are keeping you stuck? What armor of light are you carrying, and which of the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5) do you need to pick up in this season? How do we go about making no provision for the flesh?
Thursday | Luke 12:22-34
Jesus made it clear that worrying keeps us from living in the present. What’s got you worried? Why are you trying to control those things? Why do you think grounding ourselves in gratitude and God’s provision recenters us? How has God been providing for you?
Friday | Psalm 31:14-24
All of our times are in God’s hands. How does this change the hardships we face? What hard moments have you seen God redeem? In what things do you need to pray for courage and allow God to bring you through?
